Tanya Chikanza is a Chartered Accountant and accomplished business leader with more than 30 years of experience working at board and executive level across the UK, Africa, and international markets.
Throughout Tanya’s career, she has combined financial expertise with strategic vision to help organisations navigate complex challenges, attract investment, and deliver sustainable growth.
Her professional journey has taken her from the audit teams of Coopers & Lybrand and PwC in Zimbabwe and London, to corporate finance positions in JPMorgan Cazenove and Smith’s Corporate Advisory and on to senior executive and board roles in global mining and industrial companies.
She has contributed to major transactions worth billions of dollars, played key roles in governance reforms, chaired audit committees, and supported boards on strategy, risk, corporatisation and stakeholder engagement.
She serves on international boards, provides counsel to companies on governance, and corporate communications, and continues to integrate her passion for finance, strategy, and people into her work.
Alongside her board and advisory work, Tanya takes on interim executive assignments, bringing financial, strategic and communications leadership to organisations undergoing transition or transformation.
